Martha, Josie and the Chinese Elvis

Charlotte Jones

"Your time hasn't come yet baby, You got a lot of dreams to go, Your time hasn't come yet baby, But when it does your heart will know." Elvis Presley (words and music by Hirschhorn & Kascho)

Timothy Wong is just starting out as an Elvis impersonator. He's got his costumes sorted, but he's not on top of all the songs yet...

Josie Botting has spent her life offering a very 'personal service' and now she's about to retire. She's having a birthday party but is in no mood to celebrate and the guest list leaves a lot to be desired. There's Brenda-Marie, her daughter, who dreams hopelessly of being an Olympic ice skater. And Martha, her Irish cleaner, who thinks a trip to Graceland will right her many wrongs. And Lionel, Josie's last remaining client, who is desperate to dress for the occasion. The party looks set to be a disaster when in walks Timothy Wong. Will he be up to scratch? Will he be able to transform their lives with a little bit of Elvis magic? A loveable cast of eccentric characters and a surprising series of incidents leads to a magical conclusion in this unique and hilarious comedy.
