Christina Reid

Born in Belfast, 12 March 1942. Educated at Everton Primary School, 1947-49, Girls Model School, 1949-57, and Queens University, 1982-83, all Belfast. Married in 1964 (divorced 1987); three children. Worked in various office jobs in Belfast, 1957-70; writer-in-residence, Lyric Theatre, Belfast, 1983-84, and Young Vic Theatre, London, 1988-89. Recipient: Ulster Television Drama award, 1980; Thames Television Playwriting award, 1983; George Devine award, 1986.
