When a blind man, born in the country, tried to live
amidst deep-rooted prejudice on an equal footing with people
who could see, he had to use weapons murder,
blackmail, theft, rape After much wrong-doing, he
climbed the social ladder to become KENGYO, the highest rank
of authority for a blind person. Yet he is finally sentenced
to death by trisection (being cut into three pieces), the
ultimate penalty for the accused.
